Roberto Calzolari was born in central Italy's region of Umbria famous for its black truffles,
Perugina chocolates and Orvieto wine. Influenced by his uncle who owned a pastry shop
and the rich, traditional dishes unique to his region of Italy, Roberto has been expanding
his culinary skills for the past 30 years in restaurants and hotel kitchens in London,
Buenos Aires, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Orlando, Kansas City and Boston.

For 15 years, he was a hotel chef for Starwood Lodge which owns the The Westin Hotel
chain and the Sheraton Hotel in Framingham. Roberto has prepared gourmet meals for
Bose's corporate Holiday Parties, lavish wedding parties, Bar Mitzvahs and business
meetings for up to 8,000 people. Now he prefers cooking for families who appreciate 
fine cuisine and for intimate special occasions.
